HERA was presented to students enrolled in the Technology in Education course for academic year 2021 – 2022. The project was presented as a good example of problem-based learning through digital technologies. Students had the opportunity to be exposed to a discussion on the benefits of problem-based and active learning for building higher order thinking skills demanded by society and industry. They further had the opportunity to experience a live demonstration of the HERA learning game and to see the scenarios that have been developed. A presentation on the project was published through the eClass system for all students to review. Over 100 students are enrolled in this class for the current academic year.
