The HERA kick-off meeting took place on October 31 and November 1st, 2019. The partners had the opportunity to discuss the project objectives and foreseen outcomes and to make implementation plans. In addition, the partners had a first workshop on the design and functionality of the proposed serious game that promotes problem solving skills in higher education as well as specific scenarios to be integrated into the game.
During the meeting participants discussed issued related to the project implementation. The main meeting topics were:
- An overview of project objectives and activities
- Workshops on all intellectual outputs during which consortium members collaborated towards planning and design. This included the identification of learning requirements, the design of the HERA educational game, planning an evaluation strategy, and defining an outline of educational support content
- Administrative and financial issues
- Planning for dissemination and uptake of project results
